HOW IT WORKS!

You must sign up to score points on the RUN THE DOOR  running race circuit.  There are three divisions: Overall, Out-of-County, and  Youths 12 and under. All divisions are gender-free.

You can score points in four ways each time you participate in a race on the circuit.

1. You score 10 points for participating, no matter what place you take.

2. You score 3, 2 or 1 points if you take first, second or third respectively in your age group.

3.  You score 3, 2, 0r 1 additional points if you are the first, second or third male or female OVERALL in a Run the Door race.

4. If you are one of the circuit race directors or on a circuit race committee, you score 10 points.

VOLUNTEER FOR POINTS!  You also can score 2 points as a volunteer for DCSSA at the Door County Half-Marathon, Peninsula Century Spring Classic, Door County Triathlon, Peninsula Century Fall Classic, Fall 50 Relay and possibly more.

The Door County Silent Sports Alliance will keep track of points.  The top 25 Overall runners, top 3 Youth runners ages 12 and under and the Top 5 Out-of-County (Non-youth) Runners, regardless of gender,  will receive distinctive  pottery awards made by Liz Butler or medals (youth) at the Post-season Party at Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay. Remaining registered runners will be eligible for random prizes. Sign up today!
